Printed objects as they appear after removal from the machine.  Objects are built up layer by layer using a fine powder that is hardened  with a liquid binder that is applied in a similar manner as an ink jet printer.

Two objects made during the artist's workshop run by the NIU Art Museum, the School of Engineering, and the School of Art on September 18 - 19.

Visiting Artist Elona Van Gent works with Engineering and Art students that are modeling objects to be printed on the Rapid Prototyping machine.
